नालासोपारा : नालासोपाऱ्यातून एक अत्यंत धक्कादायक आणि संतापजनक प्रकार समोर आला आहे. डेटिंग ॲप्सच्या माध्यमातून तरुण मुलींना आपल्या जाळ्यात ओढणाऱ्या आणि त्यांच्यावर लैंगिक अत्याचार करणाऱ्या एका २२ वर्षीय तरुणाला पोलिसांनी बेड्या ठोकल्या आहेत. या प्रकरणातील मुख्य आरोपी आरीफ शेख याच्याविरोधात पोलिसांनी एकूण चार गंभीर गुन्हे दाखल केले आहेत.

पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, आरोपी आरीफ शेख हा डेटिंग ॲप्सवर आपले आकर्षक फोटो अपलोड करून १७ ते २२ वयोगटातील तरुण मुलींना लक्ष्य करायचा. तो गोडगोड बोलून आणि विविध आमिषे दाखवून या तरुणींना प्रेमाच्या जाळ्यात ओढायचा. त्यानंतर तो तरुणींचे शोषण करत असल्याची धक्कादायक माहिती तपासात पुढे आली आहे. आरीफवर तीन गुन्हे लैंगिक अत्याचाराचे असून, एक गुन्हा धार्मिक भावना दुखावल्याचा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.

A 22-year-old social media influencer and gym trainer, identified as Arif Ayub Shaikh, has been arrested in Nalasopara, Palghar, following a woman's allegations of rape, physical abuse and pressure to convert her religion under the pretext of marriage.
Police said more than 100 explicit video clips were recovered from his mobile phone and are being examined.
The woman's complaint also names the accused's mother and cousin in connection with separate allegations. The main accused has been remanded to three days of police custody.
BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has labelled the case a suspected “love jihad” incident and alleged that a wider network may be exploiting young women in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

या प्रकरणाचा तपास करताना पोलिसांच्या हाती आणखी एक संतापजनक माहिती लागली आहे. आरोपी आरीफ याने पीडित तरुणींचे परस्पर अश्लील व्हिडिओ रेकॉर्ड केले होते आणि हे व्हिडिओ त्याने परदेशात पाठवल्याचे तपासात निष्पन्न झाले आहे. सध्या या प्रकरणाची व्याप्ती वाढली असून पोलीस अधिक कसून चौकशी करत आहेत.

आरोपी आरीफ शेख याला न्यायालयाने १० ऑक्टोबरपासून शनिवारपर्यंत पोलीस कोठडी सुनावली आहे. या संपूर्ण प्रकरणाची गंभीरता लक्षात घेऊन, पालघर पोलिसांनी एका महत्त्वाचा संदेश दिला आहे. पोलिसांनी स्पष्ट केले आहे की, जर या नराधमाचे इतरही कोणी बळी ठरले असतील, तर त्यांनी कोणत्याही दबावाखाली न येता पुढे यावे आणि पोलिसांकडे न घाबरता तक्रार नोंदवावी. प्रशासनाकडून पीडितांना पूर्ण सुरक्षा आणि न्याय मिळवून देण्याचे आश्वासन देण्यात आले आहे.
