Nana Patekar passes away : हिंदी आणि मराठी सिनेसृष्टीतील ज्येष्ठ अभिनेते नाना पाटेकर यांच्या निधनाने सिनेसृष्टीला मोठा धक्का बसला आहे. नाना पाटेकर यांनी गोव्यात अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. पाटेकरांनी पहाटेच्या सुमारास अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. वयाच्या 75 व्या वर्षी त्यांचं निधन झालं. नाना पाटेकरांच्या निधनानंतर चाहतावर्ग, नेते मंडळी तसेच सिने कलाकारांना मोठा धक्का बसला आहे. सिनेकलाकारांनी आपल्या अधिकृत सोशल मिडिया अकाऊंटवर ट्विट आणि पोस्ट शेअर करत आपल्या भावना व्यक्त केल्या आहेत. तसेच त्यांना श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे.

I am shocked beyond words. Feels like a truck has hit me. Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Nana Patekar ji. An actor par excellence, incomparable to anyone, he carved his place in people’s hearts with his own unique style and brand of acting. There wasn’t a role or a character he couldn’t perform. He aced it all — a larger-than-life hero, a terrifying villain or be it his poker-faced comedy. He was a hero off screen too, and worked tirelessly through his charity for the good of the people.
I had the privilege of sharing screen space with him in Bluffmaster and Housefull 5, but working with him in a Marathi film will forever remain my unfulfilled desire.
My heartfelt and deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the millions of his well-wishers.
Truly, the end of an era.

नानाजींच्या निधनाच्या बातमीने खूप दुःख झाले आहे.ते अशा काही मोजक्या अभिनेत्यांपैकी एक होते ज्यांना प्रेक्षकांचे लक्ष वेधून घेण्यासाठी फार काही करण्याची गरज भासत नसे. तुम्ही आता आमच्यात नाही आहात, यावर विश्वासच बसत नाहीये. असं म्हणत अक्षय कुमारही भावुक झाला.
Really saddened by the news of Nana ji’s passing.
He was one of those rare actors who never needed to do too much to make you sit up and watch. That voice, that intensity, that honesty in every performance… he was completely his own.
I feel fortunate that we got to work together in Welcome, and then again more recently in Housefull 5. There are so many memories from those sets that I’ll always hold close.
Nana ji was truly one of a kind. It’s hard to believe you’re gone.

NANA PATEKAR THE GREATEST?💔💔A couple of hours ago, I received the heartbreaking news that my friend Nana Patekar, one of the finest actors and human beings in Indian cinema, is no more.🥹🥹🥹
I had just finished our performance and taken the curtain call. As I walked into the wings, my director Gajendra told me, “Nana is no more.”🥹
After that, I had to meet people, pose for photographs, smile, sit down for a meal… while trying to absorb what I had just heard. It was terribly difficult.
But somewhere, I felt that Nana would have wanted me to finish my work. Fulfil my responsibility to the people who had come to see us. And then, perhaps, remember him.
Actually, knowing him, I can almost hear him dismissing the very idea of a tribute: “अरे, तो क्या हो गया? मर गया तो कौन-सी बड़ी बात है? सभी मरते हैं!”
That was Nana. Direct, unpretentious, with his own way of saying even the most difficult things.❤️🩹
I will miss you, my friend. Your warmth. Your hugs. Your extraordinary performances. And whenever I miss seeing you, I will watch your films. Though today, I wish I could simply hug you one more time.
